The Lakehome

The Lakehome (on-site) | Our lakehome provides a spacious lawn and features breathtaking views of leech lake. It is the ideal site for a lakeside ceremony, and can accommodate up to 210 guests. The lakehome features three Levels of living space, (2) full kitchens, (7) bedrooms (queen bed in each room), (5) bathrooms, (2) pullout sofa beds, fireplace, a lakeside deck, washer and dryer, high speed wireless internet, and it’s all located just one block away from Chase On The Lake Resort & Spa (400 Cleveland Coulevard, Walker, MN 56484).

The lakehome requires a 3-night minimum stay during May 31 – October 14, 2017 + May 31- October 13, 2018. 2-night minimum required October 15- may 31, 2017 + October 14 – May 30, 2018.


Walker Rock Garden (off-site)

The Walker Rock Garden is located next to the conservation building, 205 Minnesota Ave, Walker, MN 56484. The garden is framed by spruce and cedar trees and features landscaped slopes amid many rocks and boulders. Other features include footpaths, stone steps, and a rock-lined stream that extends from the hilltop to an ornamental pool at the base of the hill. Rocks and boulders surround the oval-shaped pool. The plantings include a variety of perennials such as ferns, hostas, columbine, and lily of the valley, as well as many annuals.

Shingobee Hill (off-site)

Nestled along the rolling hills of the Shingobee River Valley and inside the Chippewa National Forest, Shingobee Hill is located five miles southwest of Walker, Minnesota, along State Highway 34. According to the USDA Forest Service, ski slopes, trails, and a toboggan slide were developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCCs) in the early 1930s. Shingobee was one of the first downhill ski areas in Minnesota and attracted visitors from throughout the midwest to try the “new winter sports fad.”

A permit may be required and use of Shingobee Hill for any special events must be approved by the Ranger/District. Walker City Park (off-site)

Chase on the Lake and the City of Walker have partnered up to provide ceremony space right off the shores of leech lake in the beautiful walker city park. A small lighthouse is also a popular fixture in the park, perfect for photos. Upper and lower park options are available to utilize.

Indoors

 

Walker Bay Ballroom

Our facility is 2500 square feet and can serve up to 210 guests in a classic banquet setting. It has the capacity to be separated into three smaller spaces that we call Parlors and can house up to 50 guests. The adjacent conference center foyer is an additional 1500 square feet of space for your social needs.

 


 

Waters Edge

As you most likely surmised, our Water’s Edge room looks out over beautiful Leech Lake and can accommodate 40 guests for dining. Located next to our 502 restaurant, it is the perfect option for smaller events such as a grooms dinner, brunch, or gift opening room.
