Proprietor - Steve Olson
Mr. Olson is co-founder and co-owner of Leisure Hotels Group of Companies. A twenty eight year veteran in the hotel industry, Mr. Olson began his hospitality career early working in his family’s business of owning and operating two convention hotels and a full service resort complex. After attending the University of Minnesota, majoring in business administration, Mr. Olson joined Sheraton’s extensive management training program. Subsequently, Mr. Olson joined Brock Hotel Corporation, which operated more than sixty Holiday Inns nationwide.
General Manager - Jamie Tatge
Jamie spent the last 10 years at Grand View Lodge on Gull Lake and was most recently the properties
Director of Operations. Jamie is originally from Plymouth, Minnesota. He has a degree in Hospitality &
Tourism Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, and is also a Certified Food and Beverage
Executive from the American Hotel and Lodging Education Institute. Prior to moving to Northern
Minnesota, he worked with various restaurant groups from Minneapolis to Nashville.
Assistant General Manager - Chrissy Mraz
Chrissy is a 15 year veteran to the resort business in northern Minnesota. Her background includes all
facets of the resort business including marketing and sales, operations, real estate and development.
Chrissy is originally from Burnsville, Minnesota and holds a degree in Business Management from the
Carlson School of Management-University of Minnesota. Prior to resort experience, Chrissy held
various business positions in the Minneapolis area.
Executive Chef - Ed Harapat
Ed has over 20 years of culinary experience in full service culinary operations. His passion for food
started in his teenage years as a hotel cook in the Twin Cities area and is a culinary graduate from
Hennepin Technical Center. Ed's background includes a variety of full service hotels, conference centers
resorts and restaurants. Ed has built a strong guest base in the local area after spending 4 1/2 years in the
kitchen at Arthur's Ten Mile Lake Inn, most recently as the Executive Chef.
